The forward watertight door provides safe foredeck access and excellent natural ventilation, while panoramic wraparound windows flood the saloon with light and offer breathtaking views from every angle.
An upgraded interior features premium materials, indirect lighting, soft upholstery, and oak flooring with rounded corners for safety and style. A forward-facing galley with full-size appliances and an array of added options like a dishwasher, wine fridge and induction stove top make this galley any chef’s dream.
Hospitality in Every Detail
Whether you're entertaining a crowd or unwinding with a quiet evening at anchor, the Leopard 52 delivers spacious, flexible social zones designed for effortless hosting. The aft cockpit invites gatherings with customizable table configurations and a built-in chaise longue, while the forward cockpit offers sunbeds ideal for relaxed solitude.
Adjacent to the helm, the elevated coachroof lounge provides a comfortable space to connect while underway. Inside, a versatile saloon table easily converts from a coffee table to a full dining setup, and an optional built-in grill at the swim platform ensures that open-air cooking never interferes with the flow of your space.
Layout Options for Every Lifestyle
Choose from ten to match your sailing ambitions — from the ultimate liveaboard to a high-capacity charter layout.
Elevated Sailing Performance
Naval architects Simonis Voogd have optimized the Leopard 52 for performance and ease of handling. The powerful rig, overlapping genoa, and stepped hull design ensure agile handling and steady cruising in all conditions.
The rig has been upgraded with a taller mast and longer boom, offering 17% more upwind sail area than the Leopard 50. The lowered boom also improves access to the stack-pack for safer sail handling.
Performance sail options include square-top mainsail and Code 0 in Ulman’s Aramid fabric—capable of exceeding true wind speed.
Offshore-Ready Helm & Control
Leopard’s signature protected helm station allows single-handed sailing with all lines leading aft. The upgraded twin-seat helm provides superior visibility, ergonomic comfort, and easy access to both social areas and controls.
Raymarine touchscreen navigation, digital switching, and system monitoring all come standard.
Sustainability Without Compromise
The Leopard 52 integrates advanced technologies and smart design to deliver more sustainable cruising—without sacrificing comfort, performance, or reliability.
From the solar-ready hardtop to the optional hybrid-electric propulsion system, every detail supports energy efficiency, reduced emissions, and long-term self-sufficiency at sea.
Optional Hybrid-Electric Propulsion
Leopard’s latest Electric Thrust System offers a silent, low-maintenance alternative to traditional propulsion, with hydro-regeneration and solar support built in.
• 2 x 25kW electric drives
• 2 x 27kW lithium batteries with integrated fire suppression
• 24kW range-extending genset for added autonomy
• Regeneration under sail
• Touchscreen monitoring at the nav station and helm
A built-in roof platform supports up to 1,600W of flush-mounted solar panels, seamlessly integrated into the coachroof and connected to the onboard battery bank—minimizing generator use and maximizing energy independence.
Cruise quietly, reduce your footprint, and enjoy true off-grid capability with the Leopard 52.
Built to Explore
Built by Robertson & Caine in Cape Town, South Africa, with over 3,000 Leopard catamarans delivered worldwide, the Leopard 52 benefits from a long legacy of bluewater experience and customer feedback.
Its advanced composite infusion construction delivers superior hull and deck strength, complemented by a reverse deck mold and expansive glass saloon windows for durability and panoramic views.
A factory-integrated solar array of up to 1,600 watts supports energy independence, while the one-piece hull mold enhances both strength and performance.
