The warranty for a new Leopard is with the manufacturer of the Robertson & Caine built vessel. R&C warrants that each new vessel sold and delivered by an authorized dealer will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of fourteen (14) months from the date of the warranty date. R&C further warrants that, although windows do not form part of the structural design of the vessel, window installations will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the Warranty date. In addition, R&C warrants that the hulls, decks, flybridge, decklid, bulkheads, structural webs and their connections to one another manufactured by R&C, shall be free from structural defects due to materials or workmanship, including, but not limited to any gelcoat osmotic blistering defect on the underwater surfaces of the hull for a period of six (6) years from the Warranty Date.

Leopard catamarans are designed with generous bridge deck clearance and wide beam proportions for stability and comfort offshore. Built using vacuum‑infused construction with reinforced keels, they are engineered for serious passage making, with a long track record of successful ocean crossings, including transatlantic voyages.
Leopard catamarans retain 60-70% of their original value after 5 years when properly maintained, outperforming most production multihulls. Popular models like the Leopard 46 maintain strong charter and private resale markets globally.
Leopard sail catamarans are designed for single-handed sailing, with all lines leading back to the helm and helm station layouts that simplify operation. Thoughtful rig and deck design make them well-suited for owners who want easy handling.
Leopards with the custom davit pair best with 10-11′ RIBs (15-25 HP); Leopards with the swim platform pair best with 11-14′ RIBs (25- 40 HP). Leopard owners commonly use Highfield, AB Inflatables, or Zodiac tenders with either the custom davit system or swim platform.
Maintenance on a Leopard is very structured—annual haul-outs for bottom paint and sail drive service, engine service every 250 hours, and rigging checks every couple of years. Most owners budget around 3–5% of the boat’s value annually, depending on usage and location.
